Optomap Retinal Imaging
Optomap is easy and comfortable. It does not require pupil dilation, an often-uncomfortable procedure. As a result, you will not experience blurred vision or sensitivity to light. You simply look into an eyepiece OptoMap will produce a complete image of your retina. The image is then brought to a screen, which your doctor will then review with you. This image is kept as a permanent record, and your doctor can compare the images captured at each of your yearly exams.

Again, an annual exam of your retina is a safeguard for you and your family that can ensure early detection and protect against many threats to health and possible loss of vision. When coming in for your scheduled comprehensive eye examination you will be given the opportunity to have Optomap retinal testing.
